Whether you're observing the Milky Way, tracking planets across the night sky, or exploring deep-sky objects through your telescope, we've put together detailed guides to help you make the most of every stargazing session. From choosing your first scope to learning constellations, you'll find practical advice for amateur astronomy at every level.
Our stargazing recommendations are based on established practices in amateur astronomy. While we take care to provide accurate information, weather conditions, equipment quality, and individual experience all affect results. We update our content regularly as techniques and equipment evolve.
We refresh our observatory guides and stargazing tips regularly to include new techniques, equipment reviews, and seasonal night sky events. Check back often for the latest advice on observing stars, planets, and galaxies.
